Eskim will increase its capacity and marketshare
Eskim Kimya Sanayi ve Ticaret A.S. that produces mostly construction and furniture paint in Eskisehir Industrial Zone has been in the sector for 31 years. The company has 25 000 m2 outdoor and 15 000 m2 indoor work space to produce its five main group of products- is planning to increase capacity and marketshare under unstable market conditions.
Eskim A.S. Production Manager Ozlem Tezgoren says the company operates R&D operations effectively by means of communicating with the customers and as a result of this Eskim put on the market acceptable and addictive products as from 2005. “We offer different products with different brands. Pretty is the address for furniture producers who want to produce high quality products while Eskim brand is preferred by people who are looking for quality and economical alternatives. Pretty cellulosic products have been added to Pretty polyurethan products at the begenning of 2005. Eskim proved that not only the import products has the quality but also Eskim is preferred by the masters of the market,” Tezgoren said.
Tezgoren says, the company has well-timed after-sales support and has different technical support teams in different regions of Turkey to keep this continuous. Tezgoren emphasized technical support themes find alternative solutions to customers’ problems when a problem occured and it increases customer satisfaction.
In addition to product quality, the importance of usage of the right product at the right surface and by the right method is emphasized by Tezgoren. Eskim has periodic trainings for its dealers and employees. “We believe that quality of the product is revealed when it is used properly. Therefore, we give informative trainings to paint and polish masters whether in the company or at different points in the country. Trainings are related with technical information and the usage of the product. We practice the product with the masters in our laboratories and pay attention to their complaints in order to find effective solutions. We strive to increase the quality with the help of their opinions,” Tezgoren said.
Tezgoren said, “...as a paint producer, we were glad for that the problems at building paints balanced with furniture paint in 2005. We have positive expectations for 2006 and 2007. The opportunity of house ownership with long-term loans and little repayments put market into motion. Productions at european standarts increased the posibility of exportation. As Eskim, we plan to get benefit from both local market motion and foreign trade opportunities. We plan to focus on R&D studies to achieve more capacity and marketshare.”
Ozlem Tezgoren said, a strong competition has arised as a result of the market motion. To be able to compete in the market, increase in quality and development of technical support is required because of the long maturity dates and increased discount rates.
